THE ACE PILOT RETURNS
Originally developed in collaboration with Swedish fighter pilots for the Arctic Challenge Exercise in 2021, the ACE Pilot 44mm chronograph quickly became one of our most sought-after timepieces. After being sold out for years, it’s finally making its return.
The new ACE stays true to the original while introducing updated features and design. It combines a vintage-inspired look with modern functionality. The large hands and indices are coated with lume for easy readability—even in challenging environments like a cockpit. Like all our 2025 models, the Swedish flag is featured on the dial. below 6 o’clock, and as a silhouette on the crown. Another new detail is the steel bezel with a lume dot at the 12 o’clock marker.
The new ACE Pilot is powered by a reliable quartz movement and retains its solid construction, designed to be easy to read and operate—even when wearing gloves. Several signature design elements are making a comeback, including the Ace of Spades on the dial and oil-pressed into the steel caseback for a striking 3D effect. The caseback also features the original silhouettes of the JAS 39 Gripen, F18, and F16—the participating aircraft from the 2021 Arctic Challenge Exercise that inspired the watch. And just like before, the JAS 39 Gripen is featured as a silhouette on the center-positioned chronograph second hand.
